Construction of Dr. Knippenbergcollege in Helmond

Description             

This school building for students in secondary education consists of a heart with a high void, a central meeting place, surrounded by three broad arms with classrooms, workplaces, studios, learning labs, an auditorium and numerous other functions. The roof above the void consists of a steel frame with glass plates.

For this project, commissioned by De Hoop Pekso, WSM Engineering provided the engineering for the solid wide slab floors and beam bases.
