TEKLA Modeler / 3D engineer / BIM modeler / 3D modeler m/f

SKS Group B.V. is looking for a fanatical architectural Tekla modeler.
SKS Group is a leading engineering firm specializing in detail engineering.

As a Tekla Modeler at SKS Group, you will be responsible for creating detailed models of complex (precast) concrete structures. In this independent position, you are responsible for your own projects. You maintain contacts with clients from inception to production. You work closely with our project leaders and engineers to find the best solutions for our clients.

Core duties
– Independently modeling building structures.
– Maintaining contacts with structural engineers and clients.
– Signaling and discussing additional work.
– Independent development of components.
– Thinking along in the optimization of 3D modeling processes.
– Keeping the own project administration.
– Monitoring the planning and timely reporting of threatening overruns.
– Properly registering and archiving all relevant project data.
– Working with and from a BIM team.
– Supervising, managing and controlling modelers.
– Independent detailing.

Candidate profile
– At least a completed technical education at MBO/HBO level.
– At least 2-5 years of experience in independent modeling of concrete structures.
– You are structurally sound, with knowledge of (precast) concrete.
– Experience with making production and assembly drawings is a plus.
– Experience with manufacturing/developing user components is a plus.
– Experience with AutoCad is a plus.
– Good communication skills and team-oriented.
– You have a customer-oriented attitude and can function well in a team.
– Knowledge of English and Dutch in word and writing.

Structural engineer m/f

SKS Group B.V. is looking for an ambitious and inspired structural engineer.
In this position, you will be responsible for the bulk of the work for the entire project. Your work will focus largely on structural design and often complicated structures. The position has managerial aspects.
As a structural engineer you will work on multiple projects or a single project with multiple facets. You can also divide your attention over multiple projects which may be in multiple stages.

Core duties
– general structural engineering;
– designing structures;
– calculating main structures;
– devising structural solutions;
– interpreting customer specifications;
– execution of structural detailing and documentation;
– competent with CAD systems, etc., experience with Revit Structure preferred;
– managing a few draftsman with regard to structural engineering matters.

Candidate profile
Many of these activities require a proactive attitude and strong communication skills in addition to diligence and organisational talent. A minimum of two years’ experience in a comparable position is also essential. The ideal candidate profile includes the following characteristics:

– willing to work independently as a member of a small team;
– stress-resistant and flexible;

– several years of experience as a structural engineer or similar;
– HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or academic ecucation supplemented with adequate work experience and references;
– extensive work experience with drafting and calculation software;

Draftsman/structural engineer m/f

SKS Group B.V. is looking for an ambitious and inspired draftsman/structural engineer.
You will support the project leader in designing and calculating concrete, steel or timber structures, form small housing projects to large utility projects, in the Netherlands and internationally.
You will work according to a design sketched by the project leader.

Candidate profile
– A Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering, possibly supplemented with HTI training;
– Minimum of two years’experience as a draftsman/structural engineer;
– Work experience with drafting software (Autocad en Revit);
– Work experience with calculation (Technosoft) is preferred;
– Willing to work independently as a member of a small team;
– Stress-resistant and flexible;
– A good listener, communicative and consistent;
– Highly accurate;
– A constructive understanding of structural engineering processes is an absolute must.
