This project is part of Park Malderborgh in Nijmegen
\nand concerns area development involving the construction of 394 residences by BAM Wonen.
\nWSM has worked on three projects within this area development so far:<\/p>\n

Urban Villa’s (delivered in 2013)
\n– 66 PG rooms<\/p>\n

Park Tower de Elshof (delivered in 2015)
\n– 28 private sector rental apartments
\n– 26 private apartments<\/p>\n

Park Tower Heumensoord (delivered in 2017)
\n– 27 private sector rental apartments
\n– 25 private apartments<\/p>\n

The final phase is currently underway with the De Lelie building.<\/p>\n

BAM Wonen has tasked WSM with the engineering of the main structure for this project.
\nThe building consists of an underground parking garage with storage units and 22 apartments on 6 floors above.
\nLoad transfer from the superstructure to a column-wall structure in the underground parking garage was achieved through a four-sided wide slab floor.
\nThe latest guidelines and points of attention have been incorporated here with regard to the positive torque at the slab seams.
\nWSM has also been commissioned for the engineering of the wide slab floors by Geelen Beton.
